OUR HISTORY
A Homeowners Association in Athens, AL
Welcome to HollandEastNeighborhood!
The Holland East Homeowners Association was initiated in the early 90’s when the Holland family donated the land to the association for Holland East's use. The first residents of Holland East initiated and formed a Homeowners Association with the initial activity to build a community pool and clubhouse, maintain property entrances (irrigation, signs and landscape) and common areas (fields surrounding pool). Per the agreement with the Holland Family, the Holland East architectural control committee was formed. The purpose is to approve house plans, structures (fences, additional garages), and any other structures built. This function has continued for several years and continues as a requirement for building construction. Homeowners must bring their changes to the board for approval. The Holland East Homeowners Association from its inception is optional but encouraged.
